A used-car inspection website with a custom reporting system. It connects the service website with inspection findings, photos and customer PDFs.

What it solves
Customers need clear service information. During an inspection, the technician needs to record the car's condition and pass on findings with photographs and recommendations through the same website. WordPress connects both parts.

My work
I built two custom PHP plugins. One handles the responsive design and on-page editing, with WPForms and Google reviews through Trustindex. The reporting plugin handles inspection data, private files and PDFs. The frontend uses custom CSS and vanilla JavaScript.

03 · Website and editing
Content is edited on the page.
The administrator edits services, prices, FAQs and the gallery in the finished interface. The design stays intact. Saving checks permissions and section revisions, so simultaneous edits trigger a conflict warning. The existing form and reviews are integrated into the new design.
04 · Inspection workflow
From inspection to a published report.
The technician fills in a checklist and attaches photos to inspection points, paint measurements, wheel records and diagnostics. Draft and published versions are separate. Customers see the released report while further edits wait for publication. Revision checks and history protect saved work.
05 · Sharing the result
Private access and a readable PDF.
Customers open a released report with an access code. The server checks permissions and report ownership before serving private photos, which are stored encrypted. PDFs are generated from the published version and include findings, photos and repair estimates. New draft photos remain private until publication.
